Collaborative Arts
As well as pursuing his endeavors as a singer, Mr. Rader spends a large amount of his time at the piano. He served as Adjunct Faculty in the Collaborative Piano Department of Middle Tennessee State University for the 2007-2008 school year. While there, he was the regular rehearsal, lesson and performance pianist for around a dozen singers. As well as being the pianist for these singers, he served as an assistant vocal coach, working with the voice faculty to strengthen diction and musicality. Though he has spent much of his collaborative time with singers, he often enjoys working with instrumentalists as well. Also, when available, he has served as an event pianist for weddings, graduations and other such occasions.
